Abstract Submission Criteria
Read all the guidelines below or click the link below to download the file.
The presentation of scientific papers is part of the event activities and will give authors the opportunity to share their experiences and scientific advances with participants.
Final deadline for paper submissions: SEPTEMBER 7, 2026
1. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CRITERIA
• Abstracts must be submitted by September 7, 2026, through the official Congress website. No abstracts will be accepted after this deadline.
• All abstracts must be written in English. The spelling standard must follow either American English or British English, but the two standards must never be mixed.
• Use Times New Roman, 11-point font, with 1.0 line spacing.
• Abstracts must contain no more than 3,000 characters, including names, affiliations, text, tables, figures, and spaces.

• The presenting author must be registered for the congress by August 31, 2026;
• Only one certificate will be issued per abstract, listing the title and the names of all authors according to the submitted text. The certificate will be provided at the congress venue;
• Abstracts must be original and must not have been previously published in any other publication medium;
• Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific and Organizing Committee of the SISI3 Congress and by the Blest Publishing House, in partnership with the International Blest Scientific journal;
• Final acceptance of the abstract for presentation at the SISI Congress will be confirmed by September 30, 2026.
• The Editor-in-Chief of Blest Publishing House will review approved abstracts for presentation at the SISI Congress and notify the authors of the acceptance decision(s) for publication in the International Blest Scientific journal. Our objective is to ensure that scientific decisions related to the acceptance or rejection of papers in the International Blest Scientific journal are made by July 7, 2026. Accordingly, the organizers of the SISI MIAMI Congress inform authors that acceptance of abstracts for publication in the International Blest Scientific journal is subject to the journal’s approval, regardless of whether the abstract is accepted for presentation at the congress.
▪ Very rarely, the final acceptance process may result in a decision to decline publication in the International Blest Scientific journal if the quality of the abstract falls significantly below expectations. Therefore, the Editors of International Blest Scientific reserve the right to reject abstracts selected by the Organizing Committee of the SISI MIAMI Congress. Such cases are quite rare, but we insist that authors carefully follow the guidelines for authors.
3. GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION
• All research involving human participants or animals described in abstracts must be conducted in accordance with the relevant consent and ethical requirements and must comply with the scientific journal’s policies (editorial policies). Any investigations involving experimental animals must be registered appropriately with ethics committees.
• Consent for publication: If the abstract includes information related to individual participants—for example, a case report or case series—informed consent must be obtained from the participants for the publication of such information. A declaration that consent through the Informed Consent Form was obtained must be included at the end of the abstract. The consent guidelines and declarations for reporting case series are available at the journal’s website. For a child patient, written consent for publication must be obtained from a parent or legal guardian. If the patient is deceased, consent for publication must be obtained from the closest relative. If the patient is over 16 years old, consent must be obtained from the patient or guardian.
• Clinical trial registration: Clinical trials must be registered, and this information, together with the unique identification number, must be included at the end of the abstract. The BioMed Central platform encourages prospective registration and numbering of randomized clinical trials (RCTs). Clinical trial registries that currently comply with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) can be found at: http://www.icmje.org/about-icmje/faqs/clinical-trials-registration/.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Title
The title must be in bold. The first letter of the title must be capitalized. It must not end with a period or be underlined. Example: Results of experiments in this field
Authors
First name, middle initials, if applicable, and surname without a period. Underline the name of the corresponding author. The names of the authors must be separated by commas. For names of authors from different institutions, a number must be assigned and displayed in superscript immediately after each author’s name, for example: John Smith¹, Susan Jones¹, Bill Fisher²
Include an asterisk (*) to link the corresponding author to their email address, where provided.
When authors represent a study group, the group name must not be included in the author list. This information must be included in the “Acknowledgments” section.
Affiliations
Authors’ affiliations must include department, institution, city, and country. For multiple affiliations, each must be listed separately. Each institution must appear in the same order as the authors’ names and include the number assigned to the institution in superscript, for example:
1 Department, University, City, State, Postal Code, Country
2 University, City, State, Postal Code, Country
3 Company, City, State, Postal Code, Country
Main Text
• The text must not exceed the limit of 3,000 characters;
• Use single line spacing;
• Enter the text without justification and without hyphenating words at line breaks;
• Only press the Enter key to separate paragraphs and titles, not to rearrange lines;
• Use the BioMed Central reference format;
• Special Greek characters or specific characters may be included. When a special character cannot be reproduced, type the symbol’s name in full;
• The international measurement system must be used throughout the text;
• Website links (URLs) must be provided in full, including the website title and URL, in the following format: Mouse Tumour Biology Database (http://tumor.informatics.jax.org/cancer_links.html);
• Abbreviations must be used sparingly and must be defined the first time they appear in the text.
Structured Abstracts
For structured abstracts, paragraph headings must be typed in bold and followed by a colon. Do not use the heading “Abstract.”
Each heading must appear in a separate paragraph, for example:
Introduction
Followed by regular text on a new line and in the same format described above for the main text.
Materials and Methods
Results
Conclusions
Tables
Tables
Tables must have a concise and descriptive title, be included within the text, and be numbered consecutively, for example: Table 1, Table 2, etc.
They must be formatted using the “Table” function to ensure that data columns remain aligned when the file is submitted electronically. Tables must not be formatted as text boxes or submitted as images. The use of color or shading is not permitted.
Figures
Figures must be numbered, for example, Figure 1, and must include a brief descriptive caption. The caption must be included in the text file, not in the figure file. Figures must be cited or mentioned in the text.
Where applicable, authors must obtain permission to use figures.
Submit figures in one of the following formats:
• JPEG — preferably for photographs.
Figures must be made available electronically and included within the body of the text in high resolution, with a minimum of 300 dpi. Each figure must be submitted as a separate file. Do not include figures with hyperlinks.
Detailed instructions regarding figure preparation and other acceptable file formats are available at:
https://www.biomedcentral.com/getpublished/writing-resources/data-presentation
Acknowledgments
A brief acknowledgment may be included and must be placed after the Conclusion and before the References. When the abstract is submitted on behalf of a study group, the group name must be mentioned in the acknowledgments rather than in the author list.
References
All references must be cited or mentioned consecutively in the text, with the corresponding numbers placed in brackets. Include only published articles, articles in press, or content accessible for public consultation.
Journal title abbreviations must follow MEDLINE standards.
References must be placed at the end of the abstract in Vancouver style and preceded by a number. Ensure that the reference number cited in the text matches the number listed in the reference section.
For example:
Lastname A, Lastname B, Lastname C. Title of journal article. Journal Medline abbreviation. Year; Volume:first page-last page.
Lastname E. Title of book chapter. In: Lastname F, editors. Name of Book. Volume 2. 2nd edition. Place: Publisher; Year. p.first page-last page.
Chomczynski P, Sacchi N. Single-step method of RNA isolation by acid guanidinium thiocyanate-phenol-chloroform extraction. Anal Biochem. 1987;162:156–159.
